Midday Gentle Flow

Break up your day with this lunchtime gentle yoga flow with Amy. Try this taster yoga for movement that will leave your head feeling clearer and your body ready to take on the rest of the day. This 45 minute yoga variation will include slow and smooth exercises and movement to improve body awareness, improve range of motion, and benefit your overall physical and mental health. Prenatal and postnatal modifications available.

COMING SOON - Postnatal Yoga

The goal for the online courses is to cover a range of topics for postpartum recovery and wellness - physical, mental, and psychological. This course will include other healthcare professionals; a psychologist, a nutritionist, a naturopath, a sophrologist, and more classic players a midwife, gynecologist, osteopath, personal trainer, physical therapist and of course yours truly to guide you through yoga postpartum. This course will be released in 3 different phases. The RECOVERY course - on the immediate postpartum period to give women some easy stretches, and flows and ways to reconnect with their bodies; the MOVEMENT course - on regaining strength and getting back to pre-pregnancy physical form; and the WELLNESS course- with some easy flows and ideas for mother's holistic wellness after the first year of postpartum.

Yoga for Kids

In this playful 30 minute yoga class, kids will learn yoga poses, breathing and relaxation exercises which cultivate a calm mind, increase strength flexibility, improve gross and fine motor skills, improve concentration, and help them understand how to identify and manage their feelings. Games, stories, group work, and music will be incorporated into this fun, non-competitive class and teach kids to learn to work together. Each class will end ith relaxation.

There’s a difference when it comes to practicing yoga as an adult and doing yoga as a kid.

When you’re an adult you are able to sit and objectively study your thoughts, feelings, emotions and practice continual yoga poses. Kid yoga is more about connection of self through movement and connections to emotions with imaginative questioning.

To practice kid yoga, you need to think like a kid. Use questions that allow your child to get curious as to why they feel a certain way or how breathing slowly can make them feel calm and breathing quickly can get them excited. These kids are discovering new things everyday. If we can help them connect to their bodies, thoughts and feelings more, they will be more equipped to handle everyday stressors. I can’t stop there though because there are so many benefits to practicing kid yoga with your littles ones.

We all need some time to relax and unwind so we can better serve ourselves and others. If your cup is not full you cannot fully help others.

Join me for an opening guided meditation to connect with your breath, your body, mind, emotions, and spirit. We will then move into a hatha based yoga class and will follow with yin yoga practice, holding postures for several minutes to move deeper into your awareness and connection to your body. At the end of class, while in savasana, you will rest in a restorative pose and receive a facial massage.

This mixed-level class is open to beginners and ladies who have been practicing for years.

This class can be done one-on-one or as a group.  Get your friends together for a private group class.
