Prenatal and Post Natal Yoga

My prenatal class provides an opportunity to develop greater awareness of Mama’s ever changing body, as well as to deepen Mama’s relationship and connection with her baby.

The flow of movement and postures provide much-needed relaxation during Mama's pregnancy, as well as building strength and stamina for the months ahead. Breath work, meditation, and yoga poses, help to create inner focus and awareness for a calm mind and body in preparation for the demands of labor. These practices will aid in the birthing process, thus reducing pain and increasing the preparation for an active and natural birth.

Postnatal yoga provides an opportunity for a gentle class for mamas in the early stages of motherhood.  A great place to connect with others while building your body back up and treating yourself to a period of peace.

This class is for beginners as well as those experienced in yoga.  Come and relax while you provide yourself a gentle means for healing your body.

Yoga for Kids

In this playful 30 minute yoga class, kids will learn yoga poses, breathing and relaxation exercises which cultivate a calm mind, increase strength flexibility, improve gross and fine motor skills, improve concentration, and help them understand how to identify and manage their feelings. Games, stories, group work, and music will be incorporated into this fun, non-competitive class and teach kids to learn to work together. Each class will end with relaxation.

Private Party

We all need some time to relax and unwind so we can better serve ourselves and others. If your cup is not full you cannot fully help others.

Join me for an opening guided meditation to connect with your breath, your body, mind, emotions, and spirit. We will then move into a hatha based yoga class and will follow with yin yoga practice, holding postures for several minutes to move deeper into your awareness and connection to your body. At the end of class, while in savasana, you will rest in a restorative pose and receive a facial massage.

This mixed-level class is open to beginners and ladies who have been practicing for years.

This class can be done one-on-one or as a group.  Get your friends together for a private group class.

Group of 3-7 - $100/hour

Group of 7-15 - $150/hour
